What's the difference between portable and mobile two way radios?

Portable two way radios are handheld radios that can be carried on a person; they are typically known by consumers as “walkie talkies”. Mobile two way radios on the other hand are larger and installed in places like vehicles and offices to communicate from a set location. 

What is the difference between UHF and VHF?

UHF radios are usually designed to work indoors and in more urban environments. Conversely, VHF radios are designed to work outdoors in rural environments. Does Canada Two Way offer warranties?

Yes we do! We stand behind our products, which is why all our two-way radios come with a 2-year warranty, and all accessories come with a 1-year warranty. Motorola VX series two way radios are also covered for 3 years! If you have any further questions regarding the warranties we offer, contact us

Do you program the radios?

We are able to program the commercial and professional two-way radios with private channels for you. 

Can I buy earpieces, headsets and carry cases to fit my radio?

Yes! We offer a range of headsets and accessories to fit the radios we sell.

Is analog or digital radios better? What is the difference?

Both analog and digital radios work well based on what is needed for the area you wish to cover. If you require assistance figuring out which is better for your specific environment, contact us

Why is my call going to voicemail?

1-844-226-2WAY(2929) is an automated voicemail. We are a fairly small company and at this time we cannot catch all the calls coming through. Although, when you leave a voicemail, we receive it by email and we will answer as soon as possible. We strongly encourage you to ask your question, leave your number and the best time to call you back so we can serve you better and faster.
